I acknowledge that my participation in VESILL events — including but not limited to run clubs, group fitness activities, social gatherings, outdoor routes, and related community events (collectively, "Events") — is entirely voluntary. I am choosing to participate of my own free will and have not been coerced or required to participate.
I understand that VESILL Events involve physical activity including running, outdoor exercise, and social fitness activities. I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks including, but not limited to: physical injury, muscle strain, cardiovascular stress, falls, sprains, fractures, and in extreme cases, serious injury or death.
I represent that I am in good physical health and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation. I accept full responsibility for consulting with a qualified medical professional before participating if I have any concerns about my fitness to participate.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in VESILL Events, whether or not those risks arise from the negligence of VESILL, its organizers, employees, agents, volunteers, or other participants. These risks include, but are not limited to:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in VESILL Events, I hereby release, discharge, covenant not to sue, and hold harmless VESILL, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, partners, and successors (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may be sustained by me while participating in any VESILL Event.
I understand that VESILL Events may take place on public roads, sidewalks, parks, and other outdoor spaces not exclusively controlled by VESILL. I acknowledge risks arising from public spaces including vehicles, pedestrians, uneven surfaces, and weather. I agree to follow all applicable laws, event instructions, and safety guidelines at all times.
I acknowledge that VESILL is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal belongings, including but not limited to phones, wallets, keys, or valuables, before, during, or after an Event.
I accept full responsibility for my own medical needs before, during, and after Events. In the event of an emergency, I authorize VESILL organizers to seek emergency medical treatment on my behalf and I agree to bear all costs associated with such treatment. I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.
In the event that I am unable to communicate due to injury or medical emergency, I grant VESILL organizers permission to contact emergency services and to provide responding emergency medical personnel with any available medical information pertaining to me.
I acknowledge that VESILL Events may be photographed or filmed. I grant VESILL the right to use images or video in which I may appear for promotional, editorial, or community purposes. If I do not wish to be photographed or filmed, I will notify event organizers in writing prior to the Event.
This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By accepting this waiver during onboarding, I confirm that I have read and understood this entire document, that I am at least 18 years of age, and that I am signing this waiver freely and voluntarily without any inducement or assurance of any nature.
