The Founder Story
A community built on conviction, not convenience.
Two years ago, I tried building a networking run club.
I thought if I just got ambitious people in the same room, put them on a route, and let them talk — the community would build itself.
It failed.
People showed up once. A few came back. But there was no pull, no reason to return, no deeper reason to stay. The runs were fine. The networking was forced. And the thing I wanted most — real connection — never happened.
So I stopped building and started listening. I spent hundreds of hours attending run clubs across California — from San Francisco to San Diego, big ones and small ones, early mornings and late nights.
I watched what made people come back. I watched what made them care. I watched what made a group of strangers feel like a community — and what made a community fall apart.
VESILL is intentionally different.
It's not a run club that happens to have networking. It's not a networking event that happens to have a run. It's a community designed around three things that compound: health, relationships, and ambition.
VESILL is a private community for builders, creators, operators, and ambitious professionals who believe that taking care of your body and building your network shouldn't be separate things.
Every event is designed to move all three at once:
Health
Show up. Run. Move your body.
Relationships
Meet people worth knowing.
Ambition
Leave sharper than you arrived.
When all three move together, they compound. That's the vision. That's why this isn't just another run club.
We want people who are building something — a company, a career, a body, a life. People who show up when it's easier not to. People who make the person next to them better.
Show Up
Consistency over intensity.
Run Hard
Effort is the entry point.
Build Together
No one grows alone.
Stay Healthy
Your body is the foundation.
Give More
Than you take.
Protect the Room
The standard is the community.
Members can expect a room of people who take their work and their health seriously — and who don't take themselves too seriously. Show up, run hard, and leave better.
VESILL isn't for everyone. It's for the people who are ready.
